Bed & Breakfast Suite at The Wooded Retreat!

Charming rustic glamping with modern amenities Positive: Deb and Paul, the rustic charm with modern amenities, the deluxe suite was fabulous, fresh cream and coffee and hard boiled eggs from the local Amish folks, the woods, the trail, the birds in the morning the fire pit... Deb's tour (take the tour!!!) AND Paul's stories (just ask him, and sit by the fire quietly listening!) Negative: The quirks were charming, like the shower made a little noise and the pressure wasn't super high, but it was warm and worked. Mosquitoes love to eat me alive, but bug spray is provided.

Loved the green, quiet, peaceful atmosphere Positive: Location was perfect for us. Breakfast was simple, sufficient. The suite is very nice. Hardwood floors and not a squeak! Negative: Nothing they could have helped. My knees are aging so going up & down on the stairs was a bit difficult, but definitely not impossible!

It was okay for what I paid for. Positive: I like the ambiance. I traveled for work so I didn't get to experience the whole vacation thing. Negative: Spelling out exactly which cabin I was supposed to be staying in. The bathroom water pressure was very disappointing! Let alone not very hot. After a long day I would have at least loved to have taken a decent shower.. there's mold on the woodwork in the bathroom so that's not a good sign.

We stayed in the deluxe suite in the main house, and we only got one night so we will be coming back for more! The cabin Positive: The property was clean, cozy, and in an amazingly cute location, tucked back in the woods. The bed was so comfortable, too! Negative: Nothing, it was perfect!

Great place to reinvigorate Positive: Very quiet, clean and in the great woods of Northern Wisconsin that most travelers must see sometime Negative: Everything was fine
